What better way to finish up a novel set half in Rome and half in Jerusalem than a fun, fast-paced trip to the sites and alleys where the story takes place?
We planned the trip before I even started the novel, but had almost finished it before we actually left. Our son Chris and his wife Lexi went with it and Chris got incredible photos all over the ancient city. Now the only problem I have is that I can't publish the pictures in the novel. . .So I'll start here with a couple I took myself. I'll replace them soon with Chris's masterpieces! The first is St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican with the Tibor River and Ponte Sant' Angelo in front.
The second is a typical street in the Trastevere neighborhood where some of the action in my current project, "The Treasure of the House of Levi" takes place.
